BCI-21 Black & BCI-21 Color Cartridges
1. To locate the filer holes of the cartridge you must remove the plastic cover. Remove the top of BCI-21 cartridges by carefully prying it off with a thin metal blade, such as a utility knife.

2. Take a small screw or paper clip to enlarge the filling hole in the cartridge(s). You can heat the end of the paper clip and then push into the hole to enlarge it. (Be careful not to burn yourself).

3. Attach the needle to the syringe and fill with the appropriate color ink.

4. Insert the syringe through the appropriate filling hole, (See diagram below for filling hole color) and push into the center of the cartridge. Note: You may feel a slight pressure because the cartridge contains a sponge.

5. Slowly inject up to 3 ml. of ink into the cartridge. Some ink may overflow from the filling and outlet holes when full.

6. Securley replace the top and with adhesive tape (BCI-21).

7. Unused ink may be returned to the bottle. Unused ink may be returned to the bottle. Rinse the syringe and needle with water, dry and store for further use. Our kits come with 4 fill syringes/tips so there is no cross-contamination of colors.

8. Reinsert the cartridge(s) and run a cleaning cycle as per printer instructions.

BC-20 & BC-23 High Capacity Cartridge
1. Remove plug on top of cartridge (BC-20 & BC-23) using a 1/16th drill bit or small screw remove the vented plug(s) from the filler hole(s). (Twist it into the small vent hole and pull the plug out). OR increase the size of the vent hole(s), using the screw, to allow the filling needle in.

2. Attach the needle to the syringe and fill with black ink.

3. Insert the syringe through the filling hole and push all the way into the cartridge. Note: You may feel a slight pressure because the cartridge contains a sponge.

4. Slowly inject up to 20 ml. of ink then replace the plug on the top of the cartridge.

5. Unused ink may be returned to the bottle. Rinse the syringe and needle with water, dry and store for further use. Our kits come with 4 fill syringes/tips so there is no cross-contamination of colors.

6. Reinsert the cartridge(s) and run a priming cycle as per printer instructions.

Note: Immediately refill any empty cartridges.
